Two weeks to Demo Day, one week to Maneus launch
Hey! How long does it take you to wake up?
On a good day it takes me a few decent sized cups of coffee.
It might take more these next two weeks as Demo Day fast approaches and Maneus readies for launch.
To help with some of that, I’ve made a little website to make it easier to find basic information about the book:
Quick Recap
For last week’s Buildspace assignment, I created a short video going over some of what I’ve been doing for Maneus.
While the bulk of the work has been concentrated on writing and editing, I’ve had to quickly shift gears to where I’m weakest: sales and marketing.
Margin of Error
After finishing proofreading (thank you Dad and Molly), I ordered a proof copy of Maneus. It should be here by the end of the week and if everything looks good, I’ll then immediately make the book available for purchase.
This is a new step after dealing with the whole process of writing and launching Besnowed. The first copies of the book ended up being printed with an unusually small font.
It was still readable, but there was a moment of panic with worried calls and messages running through the family.
I thought it best to be extra careful this time!
Two More Weeks
Demo Day is now only two weeks away. That gives me about a week to try and reach my goal of 100 copies sold.
When it’s my turn to speak at the event, the journey will have given me a lot to talk about, never mind the hours I could spend simply discussing Maneus.
In either case, I hope you enjoy what I’ve written and find some meaning in my rambling words.
