Hey! How much sleep did you get last night?
I’m running on only a couple hours so this will be a shorter newsletter.
The big news this week is that I’m looking to get a better idea of who plans on buying Maneus.
If you count yourself among them, please click the image below and fill out the form!
I know signing up for another email could be seen as redundant if you’re already subscribed here, but filling it out will really help me have a quantified measurement of interest in Maneus.
The kind of thing that could help me get into the Final 32 and be in the running for that $100,000 prize!
A Bird in the Hand
The form idea came to me after last week’s lesson. Everyone was tasked with coming up with a goal for our buildspace projects. Not a long-term projection, but just what we hope to see by September 16th.
I’ve set the somewhat lofty goal of selling 100 copies.
The number is not outside the realm of possibility, but I will need your help to spread the word and get more people interested in the story!
While I’m still working through edits, I’m also starting the next leg of the journey.
Shifting gears from creation to promotion and making sure physical copies of the book are ready on time.
A lot to do in three short weeks!
Two in the Bush
To help ease the transition from nascent idea to public nuisance, buildspace also asked everyone to really think about some of the core aspects of our projects.
Breaking down what the project is, who the general audience is, and then something more unique that goes a step farther.
Defining the people (or oddly dubbed ppl) who interact with the project in a meaningful way.
What defines meaningful and what exactly the interaction is, were left to us to decide.
For Maneus, I’m saying it’s everyone who buys the book.
Verifiable Interest
So again, if you’re committed to buying my new book or you just want to support me, please fill out the form!
Having a verifiable number goes a long way in showing there’s genuine interest in Maneus.
Until next time.
Cheers,
John
