Hey! How was your last meal?
Season 3 of Buildspace’s Nights and Weekends project is officially over for Besnowed. Last night was the big demo day event and it was a lot of fun meeting and speaking with others pursuing their ideas and dreams over the last 6 weeks.
With over 7,000 people signing up and only 450 making it to the end, I am happy to see how far I took my story and am hopeful for how the whole experience will inspire me in the future.
Even if I didn’t make the cut, there’s an event with the final 32 contestants later today. It should be something of a tournament where they battle it out for a chance at the $100,000 prize.
If that sounds fun to you, feel free to join, support, and vote for any project you find fun.
Reflections
While I wish I could have gone all the way to the end, I’m happy with everything I have accomplished.
More than anything, my time with Buildspace has pushed me to be public about the massive amount of work I put into writing. As Rishi said to me last night, I can now call myself an author.
Remembrance
Besnowed will always hold these memories for me now. A token and a totem of that time when I finally started to reach for the dreams I’ve always held.
The path ahead has yet to be written, but I would like to bring you all along for the journey, wherever it may go.
Until next time.
Cheers,
John
